Explore the fibre and material directions available for custom handmade rug development from Fine Rugs Creation in Bhadohi, India.

Material selection starts with the construction and end use

Material affects colour depth, sheen, texture, pile response, handle and the overall character of a handmade rug. We do not treat the fibre list as a one-size-fits-all catalogue. During development, the material direction is matched to the selected construction, artwork, intended use, target quality and budget, then confirmed through physical sampling where appropriate.

32 material directions are currently available for development. Final suitability, blend ratios and technical construction are confirmed against the project brief and sample.
